Planning, Pricing, Deposits & Confirmations

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

PLAN AHEAD

Custom Groups take time to design, source and confirm. The earlier you reach out, the more options we have to create the right journey for your clients.

PROPOSALS & PRICING

Proposals are valid for 10 business days and are subject to availability & specified terms and conditions. Pricing and services are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by Destination America. Supplier costs, taxes, fuel charges or government levies may result in pricing changes.

DEPOSITS

A non-refundable $1,000 deposit per group is required before we begin booking and securing your travel arrangements. Some suppliers may require additional deposits, which will be communicated in advance.

CONFIRMATION

Once we receive your written acceptance and required deposit, our team begins securing the services outlined in your proposal. Final confirmation is issued once arrangements have been confirmed.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is there a minimum group size?
    Preferential group pricing is generally available for groups with 10 or more rooms per night. Smaller groups of 15 or more may be accommodated depending on the itinerary and destination.
    Does Destination America accept FIT requests?
    Destination America specializes in Custom Group Travel and does not currently accommodate individual travel (FIT) requests.
    Is a Travel Director required for my group?
    Yes. A professional Travel Director accompanies every group, managing daily logistics, coordinating services and ensuring a seamless travel experience from start to finish.
    Can I bring my own Tour Escort or Group Leader?
    Absolutely! Your Tour Escort or Group Leader is welcome to accompany the group and will work alongside our Travel Director to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey.
    What are the deposit and payment requirements?
    A non-refundable $1,000 deposit per group is required to begin securing travel arrangements. Additional deposits may apply depending on supplier requirements. Final payment is generally due 45 days before departure, subject to itinerary-specific conditions.
    Is my Custom Group commissionable?
    All Custom Groups are quoted at net rates, allowing Travel Advisors the flexibility to apply their own markup and determine their earnings.
    How do I get started?
